Hunter Dozier was selected eighth overall by the Kansas City Royals in the 2013 MLB Draft after earning Southland Conference Player of the Year honors at Stephen F. Austin State University. He began his professional career with Idaho Falls and Lexington in 2013, batting .308 with 7 home runs and 52 RBIs across 69 games. Dozier progressed through Wilmington (2014), Northwest Arkansas (2014-2016), and Omaha before making his MLB debut on September 12, 2016.
