Cat Osterman dominated as a four-time collegiate All-American at University of Texas from 2002-2006, establishing NCAA Division I records with a 14.34 strikeout ratio while holding the Big 12 pitching Triple Crown for wins, ERA, and strikeouts. She was drafted first overall in National Pro Fastpitch, where she became the career leader in strikeout ratio (10.90) and no-hitters (6) as a six-time professional All-Star. Osterman represented Team USA in three Olympics, capturing gold in 2004 and silver medals in 2008 and 2020, cementing her legacy as one of the greatest international softball competitors. After setting national high school records at Cypress Springs High School with 33 strikeouts in a 14-inning shutout, she became one of only five NCAA pitchers to achieve 1,000+ strikeouts with 100+ wins and sub-1.00 ERA.
