Bryce Harper left Las Vegas High School after his sophomore year to attend College of Southern Nevada, where he won the 2010 Golden Spikes Award before being selected first overall by Washington in the 2010 MLB Draft. He made his MLB debut with the Nationals on April 28, 2012, at age 19 and became the youngest position player ever selected to an All-Star Game that same year at 19 years, 268 days old. Harper won NL Rookie of the Year in 2012, tied for the NL home run lead in 2015, and became the youngest unanimous NL MVP winner at age 23 that same season. After seven seasons in Washington, he signed a record-breaking 13-year, $330 million contract with Philadelphia in 2019, won his second NL MVP in 2021, and earned NLCS MVP honors in 2022 while leading the Phillies to their first pennant since 2009. His experience as a generational talent who has excelled at the highest level gives him unique insight into elite hitting mechanics and approach at the plate.
